Our Philosophy
In the aftermath of World War II, amidst the uncertain climate of our beloved island, a visionary group of vine growers embarked on a journey to secure their future and preserve the rich viticulture heritage of Cyprus. It was 1947 when these pioneers laid the foundation of SODAP, a cooperative that symbolized more than just wine production—it was a beacon of hope and solidarity for approximately 10,000 families across 144 vine-growing villages.
A Testament to Community Strength
SODAP was born out of a collective aspiration to stabilize and uplift the wine sector during tumultuous times. It quickly became a cornerstone for the vine-growing community, fostering an environment where unity and shared purpose propelled us toward a common goal. This solidarity was the lifeblood of our cooperative, ensuring that every member felt supported and valued.
